职位：Amazon Robotics - Data Scientist Co-op - Fall 2022 (July - December)

• Master's degree (or Bachelor's degree 3+ years of experience) in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science

• 1+ years of experience working as a data scientist or a similar role involving data extraction, analysis, statistical modeling, and communication

• 1+ years of experience using data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.)

• Currently pursuing a MS in Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or in highly quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Physics) with 3 years of experience

• Must have at least one semester/term/quarter of school left to complete after the end of the co-op

• Programming experience in Python, R or equivalent

• Background in applied statistics or machine learning

• Experience in predictive modeling, data science and analysis

• Demonstrated experience in data science and data analysis

• Desire to pursue challenging questions through extensive operational and data analysis (experience to do data analysis, regression analysis)

• Demonstrated outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Experience giving data presentations with graphical or data visualization tools Preferred qualifications Comfortable in a Linux environment Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), e.g. DynamoDB, AuroraDB (MySQL), S3, SQS, SNS, EC2

• Interest in and experience with experimental design

• Experience with creative problem solving and getting things done

• Experience with ROS, OpenCV, or PCL

  
  

• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

• 2+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data and experience with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc

• 1+ years analyzing and interpreting data and experience with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in an analytically rigorous field (Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management, Finance, etc.)

• Must be eligible and available for a full-time (40h / week) 6-month internship between July to December 2022

• Proficient understanding of data modelling, descriptive statistics, and SQL

• Familiarity with Tableau; ability to quickly develop Tableau proficiency

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to succinctly summarize key findings

• Knows how to ingest, process, and analyze data with a strong technical insight to address customer challenges

• Ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment, to meet tight deadlines, and to prioritize workload even when faced with conflicting priorities

• Quantitative and qualitative data analysis experience with demonstrated impact to a project or business use case, a track record of creative problem solving, and the desire to create and build new processes

  Basic Qualifications for the BIE Intern role:

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s in an analytically rigorous field (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Econometrics) or other equivalent discipline

• Must graduate after December 2022

• Must be eligible and available for a full-time (40h / week) 3-month internship between May/June to August/September 2022

• Experience building dashboards in Tableau or other relevant data visualization tool (Looker, PowerBI, Grafana, etc.)

• Write high-quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze complex datasets

• Basic understanding of Python, R or other relevant scripting language

• Experience using quantitative methods to evaluate product/system/service performance

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across stakeholder groups

  
  

• Currently working towards Bachelor's/Master's in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering/Sciences, Business or other equivalent discipline and must graduate after March 2023

• Must be eligible and available for a full-time (40h/week) internship during summer 2022

• Experience using MS EXCEL or similar spreadsheets

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with project management software and commercial off the shelf technologies such as Tableau, SQL, etc

• Prior experience with sustainability-related short-term project at school/college/community
